3 cups quick cooking oats1 cup chopped pecans or flaked coconut2 cups sugar˝
cup cocoa˝ cup milk˝ cup butter1 tsp. vanilla extract
Combine oats and pecans in large bowl; set aside.Combine sugar and cocoa in medium saucepan.Add
butter.Place over high heat and bring to a boil; boil 1 minute, stirring
occasionally.Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.Pour chocolate mixture
over oats and nuts, mixing well.Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper; let
stand until set.Yield 5-6 dz.
