1-3/4 cup Flour
1-tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 Cup Crisco
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter (gradually)
1/2 Cup White Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 unbeaten Egg
1 tsp. vanilla
On the side:
Some extra sugar to roll balls in.
Enough Hershey Kisses for Each Cookie
Sift together well the Dry Ingredients.
Make a cream out of the Crisco and Peanut Butter. Add Peanut butter slowly to the Crisco to get a good mix. Graudually add in the White and Brown Sugar. When mixed add in 1 unbeaten egg and the vanilla and mix well. Now take the Dry ingredients and add into the Cream mixture. Mix thuroughly.
Shape Dough mixture into balls using a rounded tsp. Roll Balls in sugar and place on Sheets.
Bake in Moderate oven (375) for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Press one Hershey Kiss firmly into the center of the cooked balls unitl the cookie crackes around each edge.
Return to oven and bake 2-5 minutes longer or until golden brown.
