1 pkg. (6 oz) choc. chips
1 1/2 cups bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups hot water
2/3 cup sugar
Place 1/3 cup choc. chips in microsafe 2 quart casserole.
Microwave on High uncovered 1-2 minutes or until soft; stir to melt.
Using a fork, mix in baking mix, nuts, 1/3 cup sugar, milk, oil, vanilla, and egg.
Beat vigorously until well mixed.
Place water, 2/3 cup sugar, and remaining choc. chips in micro-safe 4 cup measure.
Microwave high 2 minutes, and stir.
Microwave (high) 2-3 minutes longer or until boiling; stir.
Carefully pour over mixture in casserole.
Microwave on medium 9 minutes, rotate 1/4 and turn.
Microwave high, uncovered 4-6 minutes or until cake is almost dry on top.
